My Secret Paw Arrival!

The other day a package arrived in the mail for me from my secret paw, it came all the way from New Mexico sent by Meeko and Kiara. The mom said that she would put the package under the Christmas tree and I could open it when it got closer to the big day. I didn't like this idea as I wanted to right away see what was inside. After looking as cute as I could I convinced her that I should open it asap and not wait.


You cannot imagine my excitement as I opened my package and saw so many gifts that were just for me! One of my favorites was something called cat nip. There was this mousie and some nip that went inside of it. Boy did I like that a lot. I played like I was the king of the jungle and really gave him what for, then when I got mellow I kind of loved on the mousie.

Notice my beautiful pink collar along with my other gifts: my favorite white mice to throw around, two brown wobbly brown balls with feathers on them, my mousie nip toy, extra nip, and a refrigerator magnet from New Mexico.Thank you so much secret paws pals Meeko and Kiara how nice of you to send me such lovely gifts and how so nice that the mailman brought them to my house.

Alfie: Late yesterday afternoon, the man in bloo shorts (well OK he’s wearing longs at the moment ‘cos it’s cold) brought a parcel to our door, and JOY of JOY it was addressed to us!

Charlemagne and Tamar - We got our Secret Paws!

There's a box and it's addressed to us! We like getting mail. Mom, we want to open our package now!

Let's see who it's from. Wow, some kitty has really fancy writing!

It's from Boo over at ManxMnews! That package came all the way across the country to our house in Edmonds, Charlemagne.

Really? That's a long way, Tamar. Isn't she from Florida where our Daddy used to live?

Momma: Yes, kitties, that's right.

Okay, Momma - let's see what all is in there!

It's a Christmas card from Boo and the rest of the kitties, Abby, Gracie, Ping and Jinx. What a beautiful card! It will look so nice hanging up with the rest of Momma and Daddy's cards.

Oh goodness - look at all of the wonderful presents that she sent! Cat nip toys - goody, goody, goody. Those will be so fun to waller around with!

Wow, there's so much cool stuff here! Temptations and Fancy Feast and Meow Mix and catnip toys and a whole stocking full of kitty toys! We will be busy playing for a long time!

Don't forget the jack - we both really like the jack. Momma has seen both of us playing with it and carrying it around. We don't usually share, but we'll make an exception for it.

And look, she sent us a box to play in, too! Thank you so much for all of the great presents, Boo! We really appreciate it and look forward to spending lots of time playing with the toys and nomming on the yummy treats!

From Momma: The kitties don't have their own blog, but love reading about everyone's adventures. Charlemagne is the gray and white boy Maine Coon boy and Tamar is our tiger striped Pixie Bob girl.

Doods! We (me, Max da Psychokitty and Buddah Pest) got our Secret Paws package in the mail today, and our Secret Paw was Gracie! And she was really generous to us!

Nikita Cat Opens Chrissymouse Gift!

Daddy finally let me open my Chrissymouse gift today!

Doggone if I didn't get a Chrissymouse Gift from a Princess!! ;-D

Princess Isis, The White Wolf!

How cool is that? ;-D

I know, I know, she ain't really a Princess, or even a Feline for that matter!

So? She's cool, friendly, and loves the camera as much as I do, as well as being, it turns out, friends with Hansel, & Tesla (who I sent my Chrissymouse Gift to!), whose Doggie brother is her nephew.

You will be relieved to know that there is at least ONE Dog, out there, who knows how to shop for a Feline.

Must be a female thing! ;-D





After getting the box open, it was time to get everything out of the box, and on the floor!

Of course I had to double check to make sure nothing was still in the box.

Thoroughness is second nature to most Cats, hee, hee! ;-D

Next I settled down to read the letter she sent...after I decided it didn't make a very good Sun Hat. ;-D








Settling down on the bed, basking in the warm sun, I read the letter with interest.





It was a very nice letter.
