Four Crazy Cats - Secret Paws Arrived!!

Our Secret Paws box arrived on Christmas Eve, and from Willow. She is a cat we'd never met before so we were extra excited to learn about a new kitty!

Devon and Tanner helping me unwrap all the goodies. We loved how everything was individually wrapped...it kept us in suspence that much longer! Auntie is taking pictures of the event.
This was an interesting toy...you pulled a string and it vibrated and moved around. Devon thought is was great fun, but Tanner was frightened. Even today, he's not too sure about it, although he'll come running when he hears it.
Devon claimed the nip cigar while Tanner and cousin Pirate looked on. We loved how our toys were in our favorite colors! The boys have been enjoying their new toys. I've pulled these mice out from under the stove numerous times now. I've found a couple of new toys upstairs too!
Here's a picture of all the loot :) We got a really nice letter from Willow herself. I loved the picture Willow's mom made using some pictures of the boys from their website.

We gotted our packages from Santa Wendell on Monday, an Mean Ol' Mom maked us wate til Christmas Day to open them!
Oh, I didn't mind waiting. I kept a close watch on our gifts under the tree.

Sweet Praline - Secret Paws

I received my Secret Paws package on Christmas Eve. To my surprise and joy, my Secret Paw was Billy Sweetfeets from the Meezers Tails! Billy is a lot of fun and loves to dance to music, especially from the 70s and 80s. For Christmas, he got his own blog entitled, "Dancing with Billy Sweetfeets."

Mom wouldn't let me open the package until Christmas Day. She pulled everything out for me, but I had to double check behind her to make sure she didn't leave anything out. I thought about squeezing into the box, but had second thoughts.

I had catnip, balls, my own stuffed dog, and other wonderful things. I looked at my mom and asked, "Is all of this for me?"

Just look at my special presents! I think I am one of the luckiest kitties alive. I wanted to open everything immediately, but Mom says we'll do a little each week so I'll have something new for several months.

I thought I better guard all of my new things, so I slept right in the middle of them all day Christmas Day.

You can see all of my loot in the foreground and background. Good thing Santa wasn't watching when I did some of my naughty things this year.

Thank you so much, Billy Sweetfeets! I love all of my presents and your thoughtfulness. I look forward to following you on your new blog.

My Secret Paws Arrived!

I was at my favorite snoopervising spot, looking out the window for the man in blue shorts. (He did have shorts on that day because it was nice in San Francisco!) And guess what? He brought me this bright red Christmas package. Isn't it pretty? As you can see, there was something inside that got my attention.

Here are my cool presents, all spread out on the floor. I am inspecting them very closely.

Ohhh! There's that thing that smells good. NIP!! Fantastic! And there are lots of other toys to play with. There's chasing balls, and mice, and feathers, and a GIANT MOUSIE. I am going to enjoy these for a long time.

My People went out and got a Christmas tree for my presents. Here they are under the tree. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to my new pal, and Secret Paws sender, Sly, from Virginia. Merry Christmas to you and your People, Sly. I really loved my gifts.

My Secret Paw Arrival!

The other day a package arrived in the mail for me from my secret paw, it came all the way from New Mexico sent by Meeko and Kiara. The mom said that she would put the package under the Christmas tree and I could open it when it got closer to the big day. I didn't like this idea as I wanted to right away see what was inside. After looking as cute as I could I convinced her that I should open it asap and not wait.

You cannot imagine my excitement as I opened my package and saw so many gifts that were just for me! One of my favorites was something called cat nip. There was this mousie and some nip that went inside of it. Boy did I like that a lot. I played like I was the king of the jungle and really gave him what for, then when I got mellow I kind of loved on the mousie.

There's a box and it's addressed to us! We like getting mail. Mom, we want to open our package now!

Let's see who it's from. Wow, some kitty has really fancy writing!

It's from Boo over at ManxMnews! That package came all the way across the country to our house in Edmonds, Charlemagne.

Really? That's a long way, Tamar. Isn't she from Florida where our Daddy used to live?

Momma: Yes, kitties, that's right.

Okay, Momma - let's see what all is in there!

It's a Christmas card from Boo and the rest of the kitties, Abby, Gracie, Ping and Jinx. What a beautiful card! It will look so nice hanging up with the rest of Momma and Daddy's cards.

Oh goodness - look at all of the wonderful presents that she sent! Cat nip toys - goody, goody, goody. Those will be so fun to waller around with!

Wow, there's so much cool stuff here! Temptations and Fancy Feast and Meow Mix and catnip toys and a whole stocking full of kitty toys! We will be busy playing for a long time!

Don't forget the jack - we both really like the jack. Momma has seen both of us playing with it and carrying it around. We don't usually share, but we'll make an exception for it.

And look, she sent us a box to play in, too! Thank you so much for all of the great presents, Boo! We really appreciate it and look forward to spending lots of time playing with the toys and nomming on the yummy treats!

Nikita Cat Opens Chrissymouse Gift!

I know, I know, she ain't really a Princess, or even a Feline for that matter!

So? She's cool, friendly, and loves the camera as much as I do, as well as being, it turns out, friends with Hansel, & Tesla (who I sent my Chrissymouse Gift to!), whose Doggie brother is her nephew.

You will be relieved to know that there is at least ONE Dog, out there, who knows how to shop for a Feline.

Must be a female thing! ;-D

After getting the box open, it was time to get everything out of the box, and on the floor!

Of course I had to double check to make sure nothing was still in the box.

Thoroughness is second nature to most Cats, hee, hee! ;-D

It's off! From my paws to the hands of the USPS man. I sure hope my Secret Paws friends like their gifts! ...of course who wouldn't love to receive one of my personalized gift tags.

My gifts are going to a mixed home. Cats AND Dogs that is. I was reluctant to get a gift for a DOG, but Glogirly told me that we should be kind to our neighbors even if they are different than us. She said it's more important to give than receive. So I guess this applies even to Dogs. And in particular to Cats giving gifts to Dogs.

Tygana Got His Secret Paw Package!

Hi I'm Tygana from One Cats Nip!
I got to participate in Secret Paws this year and I must admit it was a lot of fun! I received my secret paw in the mail and must admit it was very very exciting!
Mom came home from the store with a white package in her hand and called me over to tell me I had a package! She put it on my tree for me to check out and I knew something good was in there and just couldnt stop sniffing it!!

So Mom took the mailing wrap off for me, and in it was another box! I pretty purple box! Mom says there was one fetching cat on that box!

So though I have 6 toes but lack the all elusive opposable thumb Mom opened the box for me and showed me my gifts! How exciting!!!!

I got a stocking full of toys! Temptation, some felix treats I believe those are UK issue and these thrive prawns! Oh and this pretty collar! There was even something in the box for Mom and she was so excited to see it it was so unexpected! It's a lovely cat keychain that she now sports with her favorite keychain she got from her Dad.

Mom caught me napping with some of my toys and got evidence with the flashy box!

Now I've got so much more to add to my stash!

Oh gosh and the temptations...don't mind the drool in the pikh...I don't really drool I'm a sophisticated cat....

I haven't got to try the felix treats yet, I have lots of temptations and mom is reluctant to let me eat them all since it's my only bag...I'm working on her though.

Sorry for the lack of pikhs of everything Mom and her camera are slow so they miss a lot of good moments! But I want to thank my Secret Paw...if you havent found out who it is it was Ginger Jasper!!! Thank you so much Ginger and your whole family too!! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Secret Paws for Hansel and Tesla!

Wow! our secret paws arrived!

We were very excited about our secret paws, from our Nikita Cat!

Of course we opened the box as quick as we could!

We got our package on Wednesday but Mom was too lazy to open it. We thought she was doing to make us wait till Christmas.

Angel: Look, Kirby, It has our names on it.

Angel: Lets get this open!

Eric and Flynn are our Secret Paws !!!!

Isis, Jeannie and Romeo were the first to explore. (Romeo loved the box of shreaded paper). We got a Kong Wabba, a scary spider, a toy that looks like a blue cow with red feet and ears, a springy tiger toy (Jeannie really likes that one), some Webbox cat delights (YUM, NOM), and a cat fun pack of Jolly Moggy toys, balls and mousies. Summer, Babe, and Bob found the toys during the night. And Eric and Flynn's Mom sent our mom CHOCOLATE!!! Yum nom nom. Thank you so much :)

The man in bloo shorts came and said he had a parcel for us. We were excited when we saw it was our Secret Paw package and it was from our friends Abby and Boo and their family.

Mum said we should wait until Christmas to open it but we were too excited.
Eric: I looked in the box first while Flynn waited in case something was in there waiting to bite his nose.

Flynn: Eric stood in the box to check everything out and I saw this great stocking with all sorts of goodies in it.

Eric: Mum helped us open the stocking so we could have a good look, then I smelled the noms. There is Fancy Feast and Meow Mix with red snapper and Temtayshuns. YUMMY!

Eric: Oh no! I just noticed mum has got the flashy box. I'm outta here.

Flynn: This box looks comfy, I wonder if I will fit in it. Two feet first.....

Back feet in too, so far so good.

Yup, I fit!

It's a nice snug nap size for me.

I can lie in here and look at all our goodies.All the green toys came in the stocking. There are different types of balls and a little stocking, a little mousie and a plush mousie, and the best mousie has got an apron on with nip in it. There is a green fevver on a stick and a soft furry caterpillar which I really like too. As well as what is in the stocking there is a springy woofie and a hedgehog that vibrates and goes around in circles when you pull it's tail.

I love that little hedgehog, he is good for bunny kicking and whapping.

I like to chew on it too.

This is the furry caterpillar. I really like whapping him too.

When I have finished playing, I like to lie on the empty stocking because it makes crinkly noises.

My Secret Paw box arrived. Filled with goodies for me and mum. Thanks Laila and Minchie
Come on mum, get over here and open this big box. You know I can't do this without thumbs!
Hmmm, stuff is all wrapped up too. Mum I still need your thumbs, I am not good with getting things untaped.
Greenies, one of my favorites, some toys and the new appetizers stinky goodness. Plus some chocolate for mum.

Plus Mum is making progress on getting my box out to my Secret Paw. We had all the stuff together and had the two boxes, not enough room for the stuff and for cushioning packaging.
So mum stopped at the station tonight and got a box and everything fits in it, so she can take in back to the station in the next day or so. Not later than Caturday, right mum? Right she said.

Four Crazy Cats - Packing up the Secret Paws

The Four Crazy Cats sent their mom out shopping the other day for their Secret Paws kitty. She came back with the following loot. We hope our kitty will like these items!

Tanner and Devon were big helpers in packaging up the loot. We decided to individually wrap the items so it would be more suspensefull for the secret kitty.

Tanner was a big helper with holding the paper down...

Devon loved to scratch at the paper, so I hope there aren't too many holes in it!

We mailed it yesterday, so hopefully it will arrive soon. I can't wait to see our kitty or kitties opening their box!

Unlike many of you I do not have a blog of my own.

My home is a Category Archive on the Blog that Daddy has.

I have been his co-blogger for over 7 years, the last 2+ on his current blog.

My home is called Nikita's Place, and if anyone adds me to a blogroll I encourange then to use that name, and link. ;-D

I am, like Daddy, a poet, humorist, news junkie, and comentator on the world at large, in this case anything Feline related. ;-D

I have a huge collection of Feline related links in my own section of the sidebars on the blog, and have been a frequent contributor to, and host of, Carnival of the Cats.

I have never done something like Secret Paws, and am having great fun participating.

It was a Major Production, and a lot of work, let me tell you!

Daddy got me a Box from UPS, and I grabbed all the supplies I needed from around the apartment, and set to work!

First thing was to get the gifts out of the bag...

Which took a little effort on my part!

I finally got everything out of the bag, and into the box, and the box stamped & sealed, and ready to go!

The recipient can tell what the gifts are, and what the stamps are, hee, hee!

Yesterday, Daddy & I took the package to the Post Office & sent it on its way.

I'm an Indoor Cat, but one with a secret...as my readers know I have a variation of what is known, in the Feline Community, as Cheshirism. ;-D

This means that, using a leash like any ordinary Cat, I can go outside, but...well you will have to see the rest of my adventure, and a couple of explanatory links with even more photos... ;-D

Our secret paw package arrived today! It said open now! So we did. Guess what was inside? Cheese!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Even though we don't know who sent it, they sure know me! I'm all about the cheese! So thank you so much and if my Secret Paw wants to reveal themselves, we'd love to thank you. There were also Yeoww treats including a nip nanner and stinky sardines!

The best part is that we did not have to wait until Christmas to open it.

It's me, Skittles! And guess what???? My secret paws arrived!! How exciting!

I've had a wonderful time co-ordinating Secret Paws this year. I just hope my pet human didn't make too many mistakes. Doooh! She usually does.

I came in the house, and there under the tree was a box with my name on it. My pet human said the mail deliverer was confused. He wanted to know if there was anyone named Skittles here. Of course!
So I opened it. It came from LC, Ayla and Iza.

I got some really cool toys, especially some great jingle bells just for Chrissymouse.

I really like the batty toys too!

Our Santa Paws is on its way!

Today, Alfie and I gathered together the gifts up we are sending to our secret Santa Paws recipient, and packed them all in a box ready for Mom to post. 'Cos I am the oldest, I hadta check they all fitted safely inside:

Alfie then helped me seal the box, ready for the Post Office to deliver it. We didn't put our names inside because it hasta be a secret!

Hopefully tomorrow, if Mom has time, she will take it to the post office so it can be weighed and stamped. Then it will wing its way to the secret destination!
